Change Your Programming Worksheet

Congratulations for being here! It means you are ready to change! I am cheering you on as you get ready to unleash your life and take it to the next level.

This is what I had to do when I started my healing journey which resulted in me reaching for my dreams – to be a holistic mind-body practitioner, lead women on walking retreats and go into remission from Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis.

This worksheet is designed to help you interrupt inherited subconscious programming, release emotional blocks that prevent forward movement, and initiate real change toward your dreams and desires.

I’m going to keep it really simple. Here are some pivotal questions to finding what is keeping you stuck and putting distance between you and your desires.

Note: Choose something that is not too big or traumatic. Work with an experienced practitioner in this regard. Whatever you answer here is right for you. You may not have an answer for all the questions. Trust the process. 

The aim is:

  • Fresh insight into where your tendencies originate from and accessing memories
  • Updating subconscious patterns through repetition + safety
  • Calming the nervous system with new empowering beliefs 

Move slowly. Let your body lead. Breathe intentionally through each step of inquiry. 

STEP 1: Identify A Piece of the Puzzle

Question 1
Where in my life am I not taking the next step—even though I want to?

What am I afraid would happen if I did take that step?

STEP 2: Locate the Origin of the Belief

Question 3
When did I first learn this belief or fear?

Journal prompts:

  • How old do I feel when I think this?
  • Who modelled this belief?
  • Was it spoken, implied, or emotionally absorbed?
  • Or did I acquire it as a result of something that happened?

STEP 3: Honour the Protection

Acknowledge silently:

This made sense once. I honour why it existed. I no longer need it.

STEP 4: Completion – Giving It Back With Love

Write the belief you are ready to release:

Pause. Breathe. Notice what shifts.

STEP 5: Choose the Upgrade

STEP 6: FasterEFT Tapping Sequence 

Tap gently on each point while repeating the statements below. Move at your own pace.

Points Used

  • Eyebrow

  • Squeeze wrist 

Round 1 – Acknowledge

  • This old fear
  • This learned belief. Say it out loud. 
  • I picked this up early
  • It once kept me safe
  • I thank it. I understand where it came from.

Take a breath.

Round 2 – Release

  • I let it go
  • I am safe to let it go now
  • My body is calm as I let it go
  • I am okay as I let it go
  • I am ready to let it go

Take a deeper breath. Blow it out.

Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Go to a happy memory in your mind for a minute. 

Check in with yourself. Are you ready to let go this old belief? If not repeat round 1 and 2. If you still have resistance keep tapping or reach out to Darene. If you are ready to install the new belief, go to round 3!

Round 3 – Install the New Pattern

  • I am choosing a better belief now
  • (Say it out loud)
  • I can move forward safely
  • My nervous system is ready for change and so am I
  • I trust myself
  • I am building new beliefs to line up with my dreams now. 
  • I am excited 
  • Peace

(Repeat “Peace” while squeezing the wrist point.)

Integration

One small action I will take in the next 24 hours to reinforce the change I’ve made:

Change becomes permanent when insight is followed by embodied action.

This process can be repeated to uncover further limiting beliefs.
