Learning how to Tap is a gift to yourself!

It will help you move away from programs and patterns that are not yours, and towards your TRUE SELF and living your true purpose.

This is a self-help tool that you can draw on whenever you need to regulate your emotions. It calms down the amygdala, which is the stress centre of the brain and reduces emotional intensity. You can Tap while you are driving, while you are walking, in a quiet place at home or secretively in the midst of company. You can Tap in the heat of the moment when emotions are high, after the event or you can choose a past problem to Tap on. Once you have learnt the basic recipe you can Tap merely by touching the Tapping points or sliding your fingers over them. You can even do it in your mind. Your body will have a memory of what you are doing and respond accordingly. 

Remember you are changing how you hold your problems in your mind by Tapping (de-fractionation/ disruption technique) and bringing yourself out of a subconscious trance – dwelling on a past event. You are reminding yourself that the event is over and only now is real. As you Tap notice how the picture/ feeling/ sound/ taste/smell you are Tapping on starts to change. You are instructing the subconscious mind to let go and choose a better feeling. Once your “problem” is replaced with a positive picture/ feeling/ sound etc. (however it shows up for you) this means it has “flipped” and you can start to Tap in positive statements like “I am so proud of myself”, “I choose peace and happiness”, “the past is over”, “life is amazing”. Be creative, you are listening! And best of all, you are gradually changing negative programs, patterns and beliefs, and filling the subconscious with positive, healthy references.

Creator of FasterEFT, Robert G. Smith, explains the structure of belief systems. There are memories and emotions attached which keep them in place. FasterEFT techniques allow us to release the structure and update with empowering beliefs.  As we change our stories from the past, our behaviour starts to change too. 

What is the science behind changing our behaviour?

We know that NEURONS THAT FIRE TOGETHER WIRE TOGETHER. Negative thoughts and beliefs become entrenched the more we practise them, and eventually become subconscious – which means they play on auto pilot. With FasterEFT we create new neural pathways and connections in the brain that make positive behaviours the new normal.

“Our brain cells communicate with one another via synaptic transmission–one brain cell releases a chemical (neurotransmitter) that the next brain cell absorbs.  This communication process is known as “neuronal firing.”  When brain cells communicate frequently, the connection between them strengthens.  Messages that travel the same pathway in the brain over & over begin to transmit faster & faster.  With enough repetition, they become automatic.” (definition)

In a FasterEFT session, a practitioner will help highlight the beliefs that are not in alignment with WHAT YOU WANT. So why is it important to have the correct beliefs? This is because the body follows the mind, now proven and accepted. A great example of this is the PLACEBO EFFECT – an indicator that the human mind has the ability to influence many aspects of our physiology, including healing. In studies, patients receiving inert substances (placebos/ sugar pills/ fake surgeries) exhibit real, measurable physiological changes. This first became evident in a 1978 study in which 40 patients were given a placebo pain killer following dental treatment. Since then, a vast array of different conditions have been reported as benefitting from placebos, including acne, Crohn’s disease, epilepsy, erectile dysfunction, ulcers, multiple sclerosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatism and colitis.

THE HUMAN MIND HAS THE CAPACITY TO POWERFULLY INFLUENCE MANY ASPECTS OF OUR PHYSIOLOGY, including our experience of pain, the alleviation of symptoms and the actual healing of some conditions. This means that we have much more control of our own health, and our own bodies, than we normally assume.

Luckily nature is always working in your favour. It also turns out, YOU ARE NOT RULED BY YOUR GENES – environmental and external factors can influence the way genes are expressed. This is the field of EPIGENETICS. This means you don’t have to get the cancer that seems to run in the family, or be overweight like many members of your ancestral line. Once you realise this, you are empowered to create your life.

My clients often ask me: So what exactly is FasterEFT? 

So I’ve decided to explain it over 10 days and break it down. And keep it really simple.

I am going to love sharing this because it is too good to keep to myself. I will be sharing the next 10 days with all my new clients.

  • It reminds me how wonderful it is to be alive.
  • It centres around an understanding of your behaviour, neuroscience, your genes, your destiny and how much control you have over it.
  • It is grounded in science, and best of all it works.
  • It should be in everyone’s toolkit.




  • Because some things in your life might be a struggle, you may be feeling stuck or are living with anxiety.
  • Because you want to claim your superpowers of being the creator of your life. 
  • Because you are alive and might be interested in improving your life in some way.
  • Because this is where you realise you are powerful beyond measure.

For the first 7 years of life you downloaded other people’s behaviours and programs and now some of them may be disempowering. This subconscious programming is dominant. And this is where all our problems begin! The nature of our biology means we operate from the programmed mind (95% of the time) and not the creative conscious mind (only 5%). Do the maths. Things that come easily to you, do so because you have a program that accepts them. We often run into problems when we want something that is not congruent with these programs, and we wonder why life feels like a struggle. The conscious mind tries to override a negative program but the subconscious dominates.

Did you know that the function of the mind is to create coherence between your beliefs and your reality? So if you subconsciously believe you are unloveable, the mind will generate behaviour that will prove to you that you’re not loveable. And so you produce patterns of behaviour or attract the same partners in alignment with what you believe about yourself and the world. THAT’S IT RIGHT THERE. THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD CARE. You might be operating from programs that do not enhance your growth and your happiness. FasterEFT is a method of changing subconscious programming.
